The Blast.tv Paris Major 2023 Counter-Strike tournament will run from May 8-21, 2023, in Paris, France. It will be held in the Accor Arena and feature 24 of the world’s best CS:GO teams competing for a prize pool of over $1 million. 

The format of the tournament will be double-elimination, starting with 24 teams qualifying for the tournament of which 16 will qualify for the Challenger Stage and 8 will go directly to the Legends Stage. 

The 16 teams will then participate in a Swiss bracket, with the top eight teams advancing to the Legend stage where they will meet the 8 teams which had pre-qualified to battle it out. The top 8 teams will then progress to the Champions Stage.  

The Champions Stage will then be a single-elimination tournament with a best out of three.

  • Challengers Stage : May 8 – 11
  • Legends Stage : May 13 – 16
  • Champions Stage : May 18 – 21

The prize pool for the tournament is a whopping $1.25 million. This money will be split among the 16 teams, with the winner taking home the lion’s share of the prize. First up we had the announcment of which eight teams that are going straight into the Legends Stage. Tteams who received a bye to the Legend Stage are: Heroic, Vitality, Natus Vincere, FURIA, fnatic, 9ine, Bad News Eagle and Into the Breach. 

Next up was the announcement of who will be the Challengers and Contenders in The Challengers Stage. The Challengers are: Monte, paiN Gaming, G2 Esports, GamerLegion, FORZE Esports, Apeks, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and OG. 

The Contenders are: ENCE, MOUZ, Team Liquid, Greyhound Gaming, Complexity Gaming, The MongolZ, Fluxo and FaZe Clan. 

Who will win the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023

The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Counter-Strike tournament will surely be an exciting event for CS: GO fans worldwide. With a prize pool of over $1 million and 24 of the world’s best teams competing, this tournament will surely be one for the ages. But who will take away the trophy consisting of $500,000 in first prize money and an automatic qualification to both IEM Cologne 2023 and Blast Premier World Final?
