As you know, Esports tournaments have been suspended for several years. Or it was carried out in an unpleasant way, postponed without an audience. However, with the decrease of the pandemic and the arrival of the summer months, the Esports scene seems to be revived again.

A long summer season and many big tournaments are waiting for us. In this article, we will examine many Esports tournaments, especially CSGO and Dota 2. We will also try to share the dates and details of the tournaments with you. If you are ready now, come and take a quick look at the details of our article.

1. CSGO – PGL Major Antwerp 2022 – May 9th – 22nd, 2022

Known as CSGO’s first and biggest tournament of this year, PGL Major Antwerp 2022 is about to start. Competing fiercely in leagues in different parts of the world, teams are preparing for a final battle. 24 teams that won regionally in PGL Major Antwerp tournaments qualified to participate in the tournament.

The tournament will be in Antwerp, Belgium, and the winning steams will get a $1,000,000 cash prize. PGL Major Antwerp will consist of 3 stages in total. Below we will try to list the stages and dates for you.

First Stage – Challengers Stage: May 9th – May 12th 2022

Final – Champions Stage: May 19th – May 22nd

The finals will be played between 8 teams that have qualified from 16 teams and will last for three days. And we will finally see the winner of the first CSGO major tournament of the season.

2. Dota 2 – ESL One Stockholm 2022 – May 12th – 22nd 2022

Dota 2 tournaments have been nowhere to be seen for a long time. In fact, there were problems with the cancellation of the First Major, which was expected to be held before. However, all obstacles have been overcome, and the first First Major for Dota 2 will be held offline in Stockholm.

Teams that have been successful in their league in the DPC adventure will compete for the First Major. ESL One Stockholm 2022 could qualify as the gateway to Dota 2 The International 11.

A total of 14 teams from different parts of the world will compete to win the First Major. Moreover, they will do this for a prize pool of $500,000. The team that succeeds in placing first will receive the grand prize of $200,000.

In addition, all matches will be Bo3 until the grand final. And the tournament will begin by splitting into two groups. In other words, a total of 7 teams as groups A and B will compete for the groups. The matches in the group stage will be Bo2. 

Teams wishing to advance to the upper brackets in the playoffs must finish the group stage in the top four. Likewise, for the lower bracket, it will be sufficient to complete it in the 5th or 6th place.

Don’t forget to follow the First Major, which will end the longing of Esports and betting lovers who can’t wait for Dota 2. Try to enjoy the highly competitive Dota 2 arena.

3. Mid-Season Invitational 2022 – 10th – 22nd May 2022

Before League of Legends Worlds 2022 starts, a tournament awaits us in preparation. The Mid-Season Invitational is MSI for short. Teams that win the spring season of 11 separate Riot leagues in total are eligible to participate in MSI. The tournament, which will be held offline in Busan, South Korea, draws attention with its $250,000 prize pool.

With the start of the season, the tournament, in which the best LoL team in the spring will be determined, starts on May 10. We will witness fierce competition in the tournament, which is expected to last until May 29th. It is a matter of curiosity how the performance of T1, which has been on its way undefeated for a long time, will be.

MSI 2022 will kick off with 11 teams split into three groups. There will be a total of 4 teams in each group. However, only 3 teams will take place in Group C. Groups A and B will compete in a Double Round-robin format, while Group C will play in a four-round Round-robin format.

2 teams that are successful in the groups and 6 teams in total will be entitled to rise to the Rumble Stage. And the four teams that win on the Rumble Stage will participate in the next stage, the Knockout. All matches after this stage will be as Bo5 until the final. Finally, we will meet the champion of MSI 2022 and the winning team will receive the grand prize of $75,000.

4. Call of Duty League 2022: Pro-AM Classic – 13th – 29th May 2022

The CDL series started to prepare for Stage 3 after Stage 1 and 2 were played out. Teams that collect enough points in the group stage will be eligible to participate in the Stage 3 Major. As you know, Activision has been offering a detailed Esports tournament system for the Call of Duty League for a long time.

If you are a fan of the Call of Duty Series, we strongly recommend you not to miss the Pro-AM Classic, where 16 teams will compete. In this way, you can have the chance to learn about the teams on the CDL Stage 3 Major.

Tournament format explained – the teams will fight in a 4v4 way. In addition, each team will be divided into groups with a maximum of 4 teams. Likewise, there will be a total of 4 groups. And only the first two teams in the groups will be able to advance to the next stage. Finally, the teams facing each other in the Playoffs will compete with the Single Elimination Bracket system. The winning team will be the champion of CDL 2022 – Pro-Aim Classic.

5. FIFA 22 eChampions League Finals – 27th May 2022

FIFA 22 Global Series continues to leave its mark this year at full speed. EA Sports, which has not been organizing large-scale tournaments for a long time, was preparing to return with FIFA. FIFAe World Cup will organize many tournaments in 2022. For now, the closest tournament to us seems to be the eCL 2022 Final.

The eCL online qualifiers were on 4th-5th December 2021 in different parts of the world. Then, on February 19th and 20th, there was the eCL Group stage. Finally, with the eCL Knockout Stage, the remaining 32 players entered the double-elimination group. 8 players who successfully completed the eCL Knockout stage were able to qualify for the eCL Finals. For now, the final can be on May 27th, one day before the UEFA Champions League final.

A total of 8 players are waiting for the 27th of May, ready for the qualifiers. We would like to remind you that players such as Tekkz and nicolas99fc, who have made their mark on FIFA Esports, will also face each other in the final. Additionally, the player who completes the tournament first will win a $75,000 cash prize. Likewise, the second, third and fourth players will get the prize.
