The first major CSGO tournament of the year, PGL Antwerp 2022, is finally over. However, CSGO events have had a small interlude of a few weeks. After this break, we are getting ready to open the month of June with the most senior tournament of the CSGO Esports scene. Of course we are talking about IEM Dallas 2022. Again, the world’s best CSGO teams are facing each other in United States, Dallas, under the sponsorship of ESL.
A total of 16 teams will compete for the grand prize pool of $250,000. The team that succeeds in being the first will also receive a serious prize of $100,000. At the same time, teams that achieve tournament rankings will also be able to earn points for the Pro Tour and BLAST Premier.

IEM Dallas 2022 Format
As we have just mentioned, the tournament will be held with the participation of 16 teams. 5 of the teams were invited directly because they are ESL Partner Teams. Then, the other 4 were invited from the ESL World Ranking, while the other teams were chosen from among the teams that won the regional qualifiers.
Group Stage – May 30, 2022
IEM Dallas 2022 group stage will begin with the classical division of the teams into 2 groups. A and B groups as a total of 8 teams will fight for the Upper Bracket. The opening matches will be Bo1, while all other matches will be Bo3. In addition, only the top 3 teams from each group will be able to advance to the playoffs.
And of course, teams that lost in the group stage will compete for the playoffs in the Lower Bracket.

The playoffs will start with the single elimination format and all matches will be Bo3 until the Grand Final. The Grand Final match will be Bo5, as we are used to from classic CSGO tournaments. In addition, we will show the system where the matches will be played in the quarter-finals as a list below.
